Ise, Mie, Japan｜Tsukiyomi - Ise Udon

Perfect for a quick and very tasty stop. It’s near Ise Jinggu but you don’t have to deal with the crowds. Ise Udon is special because of the texture and size of the noodles and the sauce. Udon is made by hand here as well as the delicious fried shrimp (ebi fry). Please consider this on your next trip to Ise. I did and was very happy :-)

The Ise udon was both ふわふわ (fluffy) and もちもち (chewy). After slurping down the noodles, I truly felt refreshed. The miso soup and shrimp donburi were excellent complements that contributed to a fulfilling meal experience.

If you are near it by a car, you should definitely try them instead of おはらいまち(Oharaimachi) near Jinguu. An old couple running the restaurant and a bit slow but it's tasty and cost friendly! You will love it.
