Suzuka, Mie, Japan｜トンテキ 名代 茜庵

2024.2.2 I visited alone after 12 o'clock. There was plenty of free parking in front of the store. The restaurant was full and I was able to sit at the counter without having to wait. There was a great value lunch set meal called Tonteki (200g of Dutch pork) for 1,100 yen, but since I rarely come here, I ordered the 1,760 yen Tonteki set meal of domestic shoulder loin. I was told that it would take quite a while to get the food because there were a lot of customers, but it was served in about 20 minutes. The taste was surprising, it was so delicious and soft. The seasoning is strong, so the cabbage garnish goes well with it. I also had a second helping of rice. This price is quite a bargain for this quality. I had to serve the customers by myself, but I felt at ease with the cheerful and efficient customer service. It was very delicious. thank you for the food

I really wanted to eat tonteki, so I chose this restaurant, which is highly rated in Suzuka. It was relatively early, just after 6pm, but the loin was already sold out. A sad thought crossed my mind that I might not be able to eat the tonteki, but the shoulder loin was still okay, and the staff seemed to be favoring the shoulder loin, so I had my tonteki set meal (shoulder roast) without any problems. I received it. The seasoning of the rice went well, and I was happy to receive a free refill of rice (of course, I had the refill). By the way, the other person also had the shoulder loin as a substitute for rice, and the more he chewed, the more the juices came out, filling his mouth with deliciousness. There was a communal parking lot in front of the store, but since it's a popular store, you might have to wait to park your car depending on the time of day.

In search of Yokkaichi's specialty, tonteki, I traveled to Suzuka. It's really delicious! ️I received the shoulder roast and it was soft and juicy without being dry. The shredded cabbage covered in gravy and sauce is also great. I recommend it✨
