Ogaki, Gifu, Japan｜Asahiya

Visited after 2pm on a weekday. We shared a table. A completely popular restaurant! Even when we shared seats, there was a plastic partition between us due to the coronavirus pandemic, so I didn't feel any discomfort. That partition is unnecessary in the workplace, but it's surprisingly nice from a privacy perspective. Espuma-style cutlet bowl! It was delicious. During my stay, more and more people came in. There is a signboard for an udon restaurant, but when I look at it, I see that there are quite a lot of people eating Chinese noodles. This is a restaurant that I would like to take the opportunity to try Chinese noodles.

I was brought here by a friend. Even though it's a udon restaurant, I heard that the Chinese noodles are recommended. I ordered chashu noodles and katsudon. Chuka soba is a mildly flavored soy sauce ramen with a rich and sour soup. The noodles were straight, hard noodles and very delicious. As for the katsudon, it was freshly made piping hot and had a unique appearance, and it was very delicious, and I took the leftovers home with me for 40 yen. I would like to visit again. Although it is an udon restaurant, it is famous for katsudon and Chinese noodles. This time I ordered "Vinegarless Chinese noodles" and "Katsudon". Is the katsudon a fluffy white tamagoyaki? It's delicious with a sweet dashi soup on it. The cutlet is of course crispy, so be careful not to burn yourself w Vinegar-free chuka soba is called vinegar-free chuka soba to distinguish it from chilled chuka. This is a cold bonito soup with thin noodles that you can't eat anywhere else. It was so delicious♪ Ogaki is said to be the city of water, but it's a hot city for katsudon. Thank you for the meal 😋
