I found this restaurant because I wanted to eat delicious fried chicken, but you can also get various set meals such as fish. The standard menu is made up of a select few, but the recommended menus posted on the whiteboard and walls seem to change depending on what's in stock that day. There are probably secret menu items for regulars that are not on the menu. What I received was Hatsushi Kantetsu, a fried chicken bowl. A bowl of rice is spread with shredded cabbage, and on top of that are four pieces of fried chicken covered in a sweet and spicy sauce. The fried chicken was as delicious as expected, with a crispy coating and just the right amount of seasoning to blend with the flavor of the chicken itself. The sweet and spicy sauce coats the cabbage and rice, and the bowl of rice disappears in seconds. I was thinking of eating chicken for a healthy meal since it was before my medical checkup, but I ended up eating way too much (fried food to begin with). I visited with my family, and thanks to the wife, master, and gentle regulars who kindly talked to my shy son, we had a comfortable meal. My son also wants to go again, so I'm sure he'll return.
