More Comments at Google MapThe chicken in Oyako Toji Udon is fluffy! The tsuyu is dark. The thick noodles are warm and easy to eat. Now that I think about it, I later remembered that the chilled tanuki noodles here are delicious, but the cold noodles are hard and delicious, but they make your jaw and hands tired!
Visited at the end of April It was a rather cold day, but I didn't want warm udon noodles, so I ordered a large serving of chilled tanuki. Thick, chewy noodles were what I was looking for. I ate a lot of carbohydrates, but I was fine. It was served very quickly, in about 3 minutes, so if it had been freshly boiled it would have been insanely delicious. That said, I was looking forward to seeing what I would order the next time I went.
I had the Akiyama special, which is nabeyaki udon. My favorite is udon with firm edges, like Musashino udon. The nabeyaki udon noodles have many toppings, especially the spinach, which is very delicious, as you would expect from Ibaraki Prefecture. The Akiyama Special soup was milder, so I drank it all. It was delicious.
