An atmospheric location with a great selection of drinks. The coffee jelly drink was sweet and refreshing, while the ginger chai was a perfect choice for autumn. The interior was also beautifully decorated with a glass window in the back showcasing the brewing area. In addition to drinks, they also sell the ginger syrup to take home. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Extremely happy to have ended my Ikaho trip with a stop here!

After a long journey and getting off the bus at Ikaho Onsen, I needed a quick pick-me-up. With some time to spare before check-in, I decided to explore the town and grab a coffee. Upon entering るんご, I was greeted by the warm atmosphere and the extremely friendly owner and barista. Their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. Despite the language barrier, we ended up chatting the whole time I was there, thanks to the magic of Google Translate. The menu offered a delightful selection of drinks, and I decided to try the Sakura lemonade and a cup of coffee. Both were absolutely delicious - the lemonade was refreshing and perfectly balanced, while the coffee was rich and aromatic. As if the amazing drinks and great conversation weren't enough, I was pleasantly surprised when the owner presented me with a small gift. I couldn't have been happier to take home a sample of their wonderful coffee to savour in the comfort of my own home. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the team at るんご for making my trip to Ikaho Onsen truly special. I cannot recommend this café enough to anyone visiting the area.

Great coffee - I had an ice black and it went really well with the chocolates. The service was excellent.
