As others have posted, the inside of the store is dark. Is it open for a moment? That's what I think. Coming from Takasaki Station, turn right at the Miyamotocho traffic light. As you walk along the street called Sayamo, you will see a signboard on your right. (But if you're not careful, you might pass by (lol)) A fusion of artificial flowers and fresh flowers that looks like something you'd see in a magazine in a pretty old-fashioned store. I was able to see it. It didn't seem like it had been thoroughly cleaned...there were some small spiders...but I thought that was part of the taste. On the day I visited, I ordered two puddings a la mode, hot coffee, and iced coffee. The pudding was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed as the fruit was dark and the apple was crunchy...but the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, so I guess it's okay. (But if I order it again and get the same product...I don't feel like going back.) Iced coffee and hot coffee had no bitterness or sourness...they had a very weak taste, like they were made with beans that had been used several times. It was a place I had always wanted to go to, so I was disappointed that the coffee wasn't very good. The toilet is Japanese style. It is located in a difficult to find location, next to the cash register. It wasn't very clean...you could see all the pipes...There was a switch to the right of the toilet entrance, so please turn on the light before entering, probably to save electricity. The master seems to have no teeth...it's hard to understand what he's saying...but that's the charm. The wife is more friendly than the husband. There is no order slip. I wonder if the owner who came to take the basic order knows. Well, I guess I'll be able to remember it since there aren't many customers. It seems that you could smoke inside the store before, but now smoking is prohibited and there is a place to smoke at the entrance of the store. (There is a photo.)
A relaxing Showa era space. Apparently this has been done since the year of the previous Olympics. Same as when I asked before Pudding a la mode ¥650 Hot coffee ¥350 What's inside pudding a la mode? peach banana watermelon melon mango Apple Pear sponge cake Vanilla Icecream Pudding (hard, caramelized, bittersweet, homemade) It's the royal road (^^) Although the interior of the store has a sense of history, the customer base is relatively young, and it seems that young people are coming here to enjoy the emotional atmosphere. I really want it to continue as long as possible. By the way, I also recommend Shintaro, which is located below this shop.
