Ota, Gunma, Japan｜Kona's Coffee Ōta

Kona's remains our favorite restaurant in town. Our most recent visit was on a Friday after work. Early evenings are best because there are fewer people there. Our waiter was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our meal was brought very soon after placing the order: the Kona burger and the salmon salad, plus one specialty coffee. Presentation and serving size are excellent as is the flavor and texture. Nothing greasy, burnt, undercooked, or drowning. The atmosphere is distinctly Western and mimics what one might expect to find in a tourist cafe in Honolulu. With each new visit to Kona's, the "gift shop" is expanding. The only complaint I have is that the music is too loud, making it difficult to have an easy conversation. NOTE: The macaroni salad is quite good!

Whenever I enter this place, it feels like I'm taken to Hawaii. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The food is not the common taste like with fastfood chains.

The place is very relaxing also the music the staff is very nice the food is huge its hard to finish it all 😂 a bit pricey but 👍 delicious 🥰
