More Comments at Google MapThe pond was beautifully clear, the people at the shop were kind, and I had a nice and quiet time ✨ I couldn't help it, but there was a wasp flying near the bench, and I was drinking coffee with some fear, knowing that it wouldn't attack unless it made a noise. Chestnuts were on sale at a cheap price, so I bought some and took them home. I went for the chestnut rice because I was worried because it was cheap, but it was delicious.
Fortunately, they open from 6:30 in the morning. When I visited, they were very friendly and helpful even though they were busy opening a store. Just like looking at the beautiful pond, the service from the store staff is as soothing as it is 🎵 The freshly made potato fries were delicious, but I discovered Tochigi's soul food that I didn't know about 🙌 Yay! It's called Kanro, and it's said to be a candy-like soul food from around Sano City that is eaten by pouring brown sugar syrup over agar in a cup. For 150 yen, there was no agar smell and it was unexpectedly delicious. (´〜`)
We ate fried sweet potatoes while looking at Izuruhara Benten Pond. I've eaten fried sweet potatoes several times since I moved here, but I don't think it's worth making it a specialty. That's what I thought... However, the fried sweet potatoes here are really delicious! The batter was thin and easy to eat, and it went well with the sauce. Since it was early in the morning, I had a blissful chill time listening to the birds.
