Nikko, Tochigi, Japan｜Ono Kouji Cafe

The menu changes monthly, so I try it once a month. I look forward to the variety of menu items that I come up with every month. The price is also very reasonable. I'm always satisfied because I get plenty of safe and secure vegetables from Nikko Aozora Farm. Dessert is always chiffon cake, but the fruit butter changes every month, so I'm looking forward to that. It's always just lunch, so I'd like to go there during cafe time as well. I'm looking forward to the delicious menu.

It was written in the new store column of the magazine and I was curious and visited. It is a cafe called Tuuli.tie. It's on the road and has a small parking lot. It seems that 7.8 cars can stay, but it may be better to be careful when moving in and out. There is a sales office on the left side of the large building, and the entrance is on the second floor of the two-story blue Scandinavian-style building on the right side. The stairs are a little steep and it is barely possible to pass people. When I opened the door, the clerk took the temperature and alcohol, and then I was guided to the seat. (This time I entered without a reservation.) There are 4 table seats and 2 tatami seats in the back. There is only one type of lunch menu, but it seems that you can add options for the main and additional items. Also, you can choose normal water or koji water for the first water. I am koji water. The faint scent and slight sweetness were fresh. From the second cup, it will be normal water. After ordering from the menu, the menu was handed over and what kind of seasoning using koji was used for which dish was posted, so it was nice to be able to enjoy it while tasting. After enjoying the water and salad, the main dish came!! I was looking forward to the main dish, but the miso soup buffet. After enjoying the bowl of soup, I immediately went to the miso soup buffet corner (laughs) (Empty-handed) Pick up one of the mamezara near the corner, select several types of miso, three types of soup stock, and several types of ingredients. Just pour the pot containing the and stir. You can drink about 6 or 7 cups of hot water. Of course, if you run out, you can replenish it next to the miso soup buffet corner. I want to go again.

My daughter found this while driving to Tochigi. The healthy foods such as koji and miso were really delicious. Also, the miso soup allows you to select the miso and toppings, so you can enjoy a variety of miso. The atmosphere was bright and relaxing. I wish there was a cafe like this nearby.
