Nasushiobara, Tochigi, Japan｜Kotaro Chaya

It is definitely a off-road teahouse place that's a must visit. The road down to the teahouse is a gravel narrow road down and up. So, please drive safely there. The teahouse is next to the river+waterfalls at the same time. The view there in autumn is spectacular especially on a sunny day! As well, the food served was super delicious and the atmosphere too. You actually sit by the river/waterfall area. There's no indoor seating. But that's fine because it's a very unique place to visit.

A place you must visit when you are around this area.

Historically inclined place. I love this place. Nature is beautiful.
