More Comments at Google MapThe exterior, interior, and name of the restaurant are nice, and the food (chicken rice gratin) was also very delicious. I was surprised to find that the last toilet I used was unexpectedly new. It's a famous restaurant that I want to visit again and again. (It seems like it takes a while to prepare the food, so it might be best to come when you have plenty of time.)
The atmosphere is great. Once you climb the brick stairs and open the door, you'll be transported to another world. It's much darker than the photo, so it might not be suitable for people who don't like dark places. It seems that the price will go up by 50 to 100 yen from March, but I think it's still quite cheap. Please note that the owner is basically the only one working at this store, so it may take some time when it's busy. The float with roses made from the famous ice cream is beautiful and delicious. I chose a cocoa float. Limited to 10 meals a day. (Cannot be combined with breakfast or lunch) Lunch was also an iced coffee set for 700 yen including tax, which was a ridiculous price. When I visited, I had ginger grilled meat, kakiage, oden, salad, and miso soup, all of which were delicious. There is a parking lot for 7 cars nearby. If you search for "Western beggar/parking lot" on Google Maps, it will come up, so if you are driving, please navigate there.
I wanted to try their specialty, cream soda, which is a rose made from ice cream and topped with soda, so I visited for lunch. There are only 10 meals available per day, so I was worried about whether I would be able to eat them, but they said they were okay, so I ordered them. The shop was dimly lit and had a nice atmosphere. The furniture was decorated with many retro items, which matched the atmosphere of the store. It's a popular restaurant, so it's always full of customers, and all seats except the counter were occupied, so I had to wait about 20 minutes for my cream soda to come out. It seems like the store is run by two people, so I guess it can't be helped. The cream soda that was brought to me was even more beautiful than I had imagined, and it felt like a waste to eat it. The contrast between the pure white cream and the bright blue soda was beautiful and made for a great photo. In the Showa era, there were bright blue sodas like this, but it's rare in the Reiwa era. As I was driving home, I looked at my tongue in the rear view mirror and turned completely blue, which made me laugh out loud as I realized this was the first time I'd seen it since the Showa era. The parking lot can accommodate about 10 cars on the north side of the store. It seems that several cars can be parked on the first floor of the store, and there is also a bicycle storage area. It was a restaurant with a very nice atmosphere, so I would like to try it for breakfast next time.
