Shimada, Shizuoka, Japan｜きっさ風待

Hanamizuki Street runs along the north side of Shimada's old national highway. Convenience stores, bookstores, parks and supermarkets are lined up in the middle of the street, giving it a nostalgic smell. A coffee shop with a quiet appearance in a residential area facing Hanamizuki Street. It also has a hidden charm. It's a really ideal appearance for a suburban coffee shop in the city. The inside of the store is a space where you can take off your shoes and go up. There are many types of coffee, and it was very impressive that the master carefully brewed the coffee.

The parking lot is fairly easy to park, but please be aware that there are only 3 tables and 2 counter seats. You can taste coffee from various countries, probably because you are particular about coffee. The photo is the omelet rice from the lunch menu. It came with soup, salad and yogurt. It has an unpretentious, homely, gentle taste.

Since I visited on foot, I felt even more comfortable taking off my shoes. The moist lemon cake went well with the blended coffee.
