Shizuoka, Japan｜Kaizan

Wonderful little cafe with astonishing view. The old couple running the café are both lovely and the homemade cake is a must try!

Delicious lunches, excellent coffee. This place used to be a ryokan, or Japanese-style inn, but in the past few years it's been a coffee shop and eatery. Everything is prepared fresh. The views out over the ocean from its perch atop the cliff are awesome. On clear days, especially in winter, you can also get excellent views of Mt. Fuji, off in the distance behind the Shizuoka cityscape. Can't wait to return to Japan to eat here again!

Very nice owner with fantastic location. Pizza is delicious. You can see Mt.Fuji from the restaurant.
