Numazu, Shizuoka, Japan｜Amamiya

This is really an experience for a tourist. We dropped by for coffee not knowing what to expect. There were 3 customers who had the pasta AND the fried rice for lunch and they wolfed it all down. My guess is that they are fishermen .... We ordered the coffee senzai. And I must say the coffee agar is amazing.

We were made really welcome the moment we walked in, and the classic yoshoku menu is pure comfort and indulgence.

After my master passed away, my mom is working hard on her own. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, with all the customers being warm and interacting with each other, helping moms carry and unload the meals. The cream mitsumame that I order every time I go is made with mom's homemade agar and is really delicious! Please try it once. This summer, summer vacation starts from August 23rd.
