Visited on the way back from viewing autumn leaves at Shoshazan Engyoji Temple. There were several cafes nearby, but since I wanted to eat almond toast, I decided to choose this one. Choosing a store was a huge success! Since it was around 4pm, we were the only customers. I was shown to a sofa seat on the second floor, and I sat on one facing the window facing the shopping street. The view of the shopping street from the second floor was fun, and I was able to enjoy people-watching for a while until my order arrived. The room was on the second floor, but not only was the sofa facing the window, but the interior also had a calming feel to it, making it a wonderful space that made you forget about time. I was very curious as to why there was a picture of Charlie Chaplin's movie ``The Kid'' near the garbage can in the restroom. This time I ordered almond toast and a sandwich. For drinks, I had Indonesian coffee and my companion had royal milk tea. I was looking forward to the almond toast. Actually, I had eaten it at a coffee shop in Himeji's shopping district two days ago, and it was so delicious that I wanted to try it from another shop, which led me to this visit. The toast I had last time had sliced ​​almonds on top, but the one at this cafe had crushed almonds on top. I guess it varies depending on the store. It tasted like almond toast, but the aroma of almonds filled my mouth, and the sweetness was so light that I could eat as many slices as I wanted. The staff's response was smart and gave a good impression! When I visit Himeji, I definitely want to come back to this restaurant! Of course, the coffee is also excellent. As I was writing this, I started wanting to go again.

I went on a weekday around 3pm. By chance, there were no customers, so I had the second floor all to myself. The sofa seat facing the window was nice. If you think it's a little cold, we also have throw blankets available. Coffee and banana cake were delicious. From the appearance, I thought it was an elderly master, but it turned out to be a young man. I would also like to go there for a morning session.
