Kobe, Hyogo, Japan｜Colour Tea Cafe

I needed some refuge from the morning heat, and there are very rarely cafes open in Japan before 10am. This popped up on Apple Maps and I decided to give it a go - and I’m so glad I did! Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try a tea set or anything more extensive because of time, but I ordered a banana milk and it came with a small order of bite sized cookies (which are also for sale!). The banana milk was delicious, and my friend ordered an iced coffee which she said was great too! The staff was very attentive and very nice. If we didn’t have to rush to work, we likely would’ve stayed longer and ordered more. It was a very clean shop with cute decorations. If I’m ever in the area, I’d love to come back!

Lovely little place to get a taste of home. Tea and scones; what could be more English than that!? Owner is very friendly and the atmosphere really nice...cozy. Tea and scones tasted delicious, not too heavy. Great to get a short break from the busy world outside. Will go back.
