1 minute walk from Kure Station. This is the coffee shop closest to the station. Various people have used expressions such as "Showa" and "retro" in reviews, but I think most coffee shops in Kure are like this 😅 (This is my personal impression) A feature of this store is that smoking is allowed, although it seems to be rare these days. There are ashtrays on each table. However, at the time I went, there was no one smoking, probably because it was lunch time. Well, there are fewer people smoking cigarettes these days, so maybe you don't have to worry about it too much. On this day, I ordered "Navy Curry". Contains lots of carrots, potatoes, and meat. The roux is not very spicy, but it does have a spiciness to it. Having said that, this is a curry from a Western restaurant, which is different from a curry specialty store. It’s delicious👍 It comes with a salad, which also includes a seasonal fruit called pear. This makes me happy 😄 On this day, it was lunch time, and customers were coming in one after another, but all the tables were occupied, so the restaurant staff had to turn them down several times. Four people can sit at one table, but there were many people sitting alone, including me, so there were empty seats. However, the staff at the restaurant never talk about sharing seats. I think that's because they provide a personal space (seats) to customers who come to enjoy their time, so sharing a table is not possible. Is it our pride as a coffee shop? I think this is one of the charms of this store.

This restaurant is a must-see for smokers, as each seat has an ashtray. They also have Kure's famous cold noodles, navy curry, and Yamato omelet rice, so if you can't travel far, you can enjoy the specialties here. If you go during lunch time, you can eat a set meal that is not a specialty but is good value for money. No matter what you eat, it won't go wrong, so you can eat with confidence.
