Hiroshima, Japan｜shimaji coffee roasters

Amazing cafe and friendly staffs Sweets are nice and it's a cozy place. I don't know about coffee much but they explained which beans were good for my order very gently. The location is only 5mins away from Hiroshima sta. Definitely I'll go there again.

Shimaji Coffee Roasters specialize in light-roasts. When brewed, they are lighter in color than standard coffee and more acidic. Light roasts allow you to more fully appreciate the flavors of the various beans used. Shimaji has 5 brews in offer. The flavor profiles are in Japanese, but you can sample each coffee before ordering. The space is bright and simply stylish. The sweets on offer are great to - the black sesame and chocolate thing I had was really good (the peanut butter and jelly bar also looking good) and went really well with the coffee. I also loved the Chips brand mug the coffee was served in. It had a nice heft to it and I actually ordered one to use at home after visiting Shimaji. I’ll definitely be back when in need of a caffeine hit near Hiroshima Station.
