Nice little cafe with chill vibe. Delicious keema curry and fresh blood orange juice from Setouichi (seasonal special)!

Unique cafe in a 100-year old small wooden house. It was decorated with books and the owner's family heirlooms. Great view from the ivy-framed window. The brown sugar kanten was delicious. I was the only customer on a rainy day, and I enjoyed the peaceful calming atmosphere. When I asked for the toilet, I was told it was "through the garden, down the slope, under the tree". It was a mini adventure going to the toilet in the rain!

Visited around 12:00 on Thursday, December 29, 2022. It has been my wish to walk around Onomichi for a long time, and it has finally come true. I had lunch at this restaurant that I happened to meet after starting from Onomichi station. The name of the shop is read as Hanutei. It is a tasteful shop with many books and materials related to Naoya Shiga. There are 4 seats inside and 4 seats outside. What I received was keema curry. They don't use wheat flour. 850 yen. It seems to be operated by a couple, and it takes quite a while after ordering.
