Fukuyama, Hiroshima, Japan｜Atelier

When I was looking for a cafe in Fukuyama that looked good, I came across parfait and waffles, so I decided to try them out. The inside of the store has a calm, retro atmosphere. I ordered Shine Muscat Parfait and Fruit Waffle. It's as voluminous as expected and has an impact! I was surprised. Fruits seem to change depending on the season. There is also a slightly later lunch menu. The other customers' orders looked delicious, so I thought I'd go there for lunch next time. The parking lot has a difference in level from the road. If you have a low vehicle, there is a narrow road that you can enter from the back, so I think it would be best to take that route.

Visited during my trip to Japan in June 2023. An old-fashioned coffee shop that also serves breakfast. The inside of the shop is spacious and comfortable, with seats where you can watch the bikes from the window. The owner's family loves motorcycles, so when I visited them on my Cub Around Japan trip, they were very welcoming. The morning hot sandwich was really delicious!

The four of us had breakfast together! We ordered the hot sandwich morning set, fried chicken morning set, and daily morning set. Drinks were hot tea, coffee, and latte. It was my first time having a hot sandwich, and the hot sandwich with melted cheese and egg was simple yet crunchy and delicious! Salad comes with Caesar dressing. Cocotte is the only sweet yogurt. I wasn't sure if the soup was corn or something, but it had a gentle taste. Plus, one boiled egg. We also received a plate of fried chicken with salad as a complimentary service! What an elegant morning! It was filling and delicious, so I was very satisfied from the morning. Apparently it was the 50th anniversary, so there was a raffle on the way home. You can win sweets, coffee sets, discount tickets, etc. It was fun, the staff were kind, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was delicious. I think it's great for when you want to relax by yourself or for a meal with friends!
