More Comments at Google MapSmoking is allowed in separate smoking areas. The interior of the store is retro and calm. The nostalgic atmosphere is exciting. I received a cake set with cheesecake and iced coffee black. The cheesecake is a rare cheesecake type. Topped with blueberry sauce and fresh cream. Smooth and delicious. It's not too sweet and easy to eat. The iced coffee had a very good roasted depth and bitterness, which was clearly different from convenience store coffee. The location is really close to Kitakata Station. The parking lot is on the west side of the store. This is a wonderful shop that you should definitely visit when you visit Kitakata.
A good old coffee shop located in front of Kitakata Station, which has become rare these days. It looks like an elegant madam is managing the restaurant by herself. The inside of the store is well kept and although it is old, it has a clean feel to it. I had Dutch coffee, a cold brew coffee said to have been invented by the Dutch, and a mixed sandwich. The coffee had a nice aroma and a moderate bitterness and deep flavor. The mixed sandwich had a nostalgic and simple taste that reminded me of having eaten it before. The presentation also gave me a sense of déjà vu, as if I had seen something from my childhood. The wet towels were old-fashioned towels, and the cold glasses were quite stylish. The interior of the store is designed with great attention to detail, including the leather upholstery under the counter with beautifully crafted clasps. Great exterior!! ️ Madam said that it has a history of 114 years and has been in business for 45 years. The only thing I didn't like was that smoking was allowed inside. I'm not good at this, so I'd like you to at least smoke outside. Old style, for better or worse. Still, I want to go again, so I hope they continue.
I stopped by on my way back from seeing sunflowers in Sannokura. The atmosphere inside the store is Not too old-fashioned, not too fashionable, I felt calm and relaxed. The coffee was also delicious. Although the parfait was a little rough, It was also delicious.
