Gifu, Japan｜Island Cafe

A colleague who wanted to eat pasta brought me here. It has a very long-established atmosphere, but it has the image of an Irish cafe bar with the feeling that the older people are rather lively. I wanted to eat pasta, so of course I chose pasta. Since it's a pasta lunch, the menu seems to change daily, but it was cream pasta, so I ordered it. At first, the salad came out, and after a while the pasta arrived. Since I made it with a drink, I decided to have coffee brought after the meal. Pasta feels like cream soup and has a strong taste, which I like quite a lot. I ate while being careful not to scatter the cream. The amount is relatively large, and there is quite a response to eating. I'm sure I'll be brought here many times, so I'm looking forward to the next lunch pasta.

I passed by the store just after 2pm. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot, so I got curious and went into the store. It seems that there are many shops that are empty due to the time of day, but it was about 80% full. I went in and ordered a sandwich and coffee. The sandwich was large and filling. The taste was delicious too ♫ The atmosphere of the store was also calm. I think it's a restaurant where you can relax, so I'd like to stay there next time.

The breakfast menu alternates between sandwiches and toast, but the sandwiches are highly recommended! ! It's an authentic dish with lots of ingredients. Plate breakfast with plenty of fruit tossed in yogurt and another vegetable-based dish. The tea is served in a pot, so you can get 3 cups, which is a good deal. There is good communication between the staff and regular customers, and leftover sandwiches can be carefully wrapped and taken home. The flowers are beautifully decorated from every angle, and the fresh flowers are very soothing. It was crowded, so we ended up in the smoking area...but the ashtray was covered with coffee, so I felt a little thoughtfulness!
