Toki, Gifu, Japan｜玄保庵

I stopped by this cafe while visiting some business partners in Kasahara-cho, Tajimi City. This is a very nice shop attached to the pottery of a famous pottery artist named Yasuyuki Kato. As soon as you step inside, you can see time passing slowly. Today I stopped by after having lunch elsewhere and had some delicious coffee, but next time I'm definitely planning on ordering the famous soba noodles here for lunch. It was a feast!

The handmade soba noodles and pudding were delicious. Comes with 2 rice balls I ate one before taking a photo. Reservations are required for soba. I was happy to hear that they made the soba at the scheduled time. I would like to go there for lunch next time.

I wasn't originally planning to go there, but the store I was going to was closed, so I decided to go to this nearby store... What then? All the buildings were made of wood and the space was warm. The entrance is an atrium, and when you go up to the second floor, you can see the shelves and other things placed there, all of which give you the feeling that it has a long history and is still standing like this. There is a hearth on the first floor below, and it is a scenery that warms your heart to the core. I didn't use it because it was summer. (I don't know if it will be used even in winter) (It's extremely hot on the second floor in summer) All of the rice was made with care, and I really felt that handmade food makes me happy. After the meal, we will serve matcha and hojicha. I tried it out by imitating it, but It's quite difficult I just enjoyed the atmosphere and finished off with the shop's mom making me some tea. Tea that you make yourself (30%) and drink while enjoying it with sweets is especially deeply touching. As a side note, we are very particular about the hand washing area in the restroom. It had an interesting shape There are stones under the toilet, and the toilet slippers are loose. What a quaint toilet As with the food and atmosphere, there were so many heart-warming parts that I couldn't stop being moved.
