Very peaceful place to sit down, read books, have a cup of coffee and feel the river breeze :)

A used bookstore located in an old folk house right in front of Kasagi Gorge. As the name suggests, the restaurant is spacious, but also has the atmosphere of a secret place, like the hideout of a great literary figure, making it an attractive shop. We also have a variety of events such as story sessions and pop-up events, so there's plenty to enjoy other than books. I would like you to speak with the manager😊

While running an (old) bookstore, we also offer lodging, mail order, coffee, exhibitions, live performances, records, and a spectacular view like no other. The owner and his wife are very gentle and easy to interact with, which is great. It's also a wonderful place to meet people, and I had one. Please go once if you are interested. I would love to come again.
