Super friendly cafe owners who were very welcoming despite the fact that our large group of nine only ordered three desserts to try. They have a speciality dessert that's advertised outside on a sign. it's the same kind of desserts that was served during the Edo period when travelers would pass by. It's a great place to stop and rest your feet if you are hiking around the area

Wonderful spot with espresso and breakfast on the Nakasendo trail. We stopped on our way to Magome from Nakatsasugawa. The espresso perfect with the Sanmo mochi.

A traditional café and a superb stop on the Nakasendō Way. The sanmon mochi are a must try!
