It's an eat-in corner in a corner of the supermarket, and the pancakes are fluffy, thick, and delicious! I went there at 10am on a weekday and it was very empty (I was the only customer). Ordered a single berry ¥600 and milk tea +¥220. The berries were sour and well balanced. There is also a power supply at the counter table by the window, so it may be good for those who want to work a little. You can hear some background music and the sound of the cash register, but if that doesn't bother you, I think it's a hidden gem because you can eat delicious pancakes without lining up. It's a eat-in restaurant that can be used by people other than cafe customers, so depending on the time of day you may not be able to sit down, but they also do takeout. There was also free Wi-Fi.

Joetsu is great because you can easily eat pancakes of this quality at a eat-in supermarket. I don't mind the sounds of supermarkets at all, but in fact, I find it more stressful at high-end, well-known stores where there are many people waiting, people asking me if I have a reservation, etc., and the staff getting nervous because of that. The price was reasonable, and it was fluffy and not mushy inside, which I really liked! I would also like to thank the store clerk for his consideration.

I went to Muji after lunch. To be honest, I was disappointed because it was in a corner of the supermarket! The contrast between the fluffy pancakes and the crunchy sour berries was perfect, and it looked really cute and made me feel good. When I pointed the camera at it, I noticed that the berries were scattered in a well-balanced manner and looked great, but I also felt that they were very particular about the arrangement. I saw a group of elderly people and a man alone.I don't really get a chance to eat this kind of food because I tend to shy away from fashionable restaurants, but this eat-in corner is connected to a supermarket, so it's very convenient. I think this is a valuable shop where you can enjoy authentic pancakes. There was also an outlet at the counter seat, which I was grateful for since I was in the middle of a trip. It's within walking distance from the station, and I definitely want to come back when I go to Naoetsu again.
