Joetsu, Niigata, Japan｜manmaru terrace [マンマルテラス]

I visited on a Sunday when it opened at 11:00, and it was quickly filled. I had a fig parfait and a Mont Blanc. I also bought a chiffon cake as a souvenir. It was a very satisfying sweet. I would like to visit on a weekday next time. It looks like it can be very relaxing.

It was a small and cute shop. The chiffon fruit sandwich was fluffier than I expected, and the fresh cream had just the right amount of sweetness for me, making me want to go again♪ I felt that the amount of grape juice was small for the price, but I also thought that if you are using fresh, home-grown produce, the price is worth it since it takes a lot of time and effort. However, since the grapes are like grapes grown for wine, it tasted more like non-alcoholic wine than juice. It was a grape juice I had never tried before. The staff at the store were also very nice, and I was personally very satisfied.

A cafe away from the city The exterior and interior of the restaurant are very stylish with a design that uses precious wood. Although the inside of the store is a little small, we recommend coming on a sunny day as there are terrace seats. The menu I ordered was Chiffon cake (brown sugar) cream sandwich Black tea (hot tea) The average price is about 550 yen, which is reasonable! There are several types of chiffon cakes that you can choose for yourself. The brown sugar chiffon was fluffy with a light crunch and was very delicious♪ The tea comes in a teapot, which is enough for about 3 cups. (They didn't have sugar or milk, but I'm sure they'll get it if you ask.) It's a little out of town, but I don't think you'll regret visiting!
