Nozawaonsen, Nagano, Japan｜Carte

Very quaint and quiet cafe in nozawa onsen where it’s a collectors haven! The owner has this pool table converted into a common dining table with a glass top. Below the glass top are placed hundreds or thousands of Japanese chopsticks holder of different shapes, sizes, designs, colours and functions. Food wise they have the usual teas, coffees, espressos, cake and toasts. We ordered the ice milk tea and the coffee and it was good. We also ordered the green tea chiffon cake and the New York cheese cake. It’s ok. All in all it’s a good place to chill and read a book in the ski resort mountains if it’s your thing. Be prepared to be relaxed and wait as it’s a person show and it’s to slow down and enjoy finer things in life…

Very delicious hot chocolate, rich and creamy. Red tea cake is soft and airy.

A quaint little place to relax and sip some drinks! They have a lot of options for tea and delicious desserts! I felt very cozy and comfortable in there.
