Naoetsu Station is a terminal station where multiple lines connect, so it is recommended as a place to take a break when you are between transfers.

It has been made into a stage play, film, and TV drama. (From Wikipedia) After Hayashi's marriage broke down in Tokyo, she thought that maybe she could heal by going somewhere far away, and she ended up in Naoetsu, where Fumiko Hayashi's works are displayed in the shop, as shown in the photo. It was on display. The shop seems to be run by one elegant old lady, and she is very attentive in preparing magazines and newspapers that might be suitable for the customers along with the coffee. I'm also grateful that there is fast free wifi. This time, they suggested coffee from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 because it wasn't too sour. I am happy that the price is reasonable. Although most shops were quiet on a Sunday evening, this shop was crowded with customers.
