I'm so happy that another stylish cafe has opened in Kashiwazaki. Today we had a satoyama lunch. The ``new potato'' soup that was served before the meal was ``fluffy and melty'' and had a happy texture. The appetizer, taro gratin, has white sauce and cheese gently intertwined with the taro. The main dish of chicken was tender, the bread was warmed just right, and it was very delicious. I ordered a blueberry smoothie as a dessert, and I enjoyed the sweetness of the ingredients. It's a cafe attached to the park, but I would like to come again mainly for the cafe.
This cafe was opened in the Yumenomori Guest House by brothers who were mainly active in catering services locally. It seems that they are very particular about local ingredients, and they carefully cook sea bream from Kashiwazaki, salt from Izumozaki, freshly harvested wild plants, and local chicken. Lunch with soup, an appetizer, and bread or rice as the main course is reasonably priced at 1,200 yen. The menu also includes pasta, curry, sweets, and more. Don't miss it when you visit Yumenomori Park!
