I visited here for the event, "Walking around the town and try sweets in the cafe". You can try a wonderful sweets and a drink for one coin, 500 yen! This cafe has very good atmosphere and I had very god chilling time.

Amazing find. Old edo era building. Food was amazing and coffee was delicious. So happy we found this place.

It's a very calm cafe located a little back from the street. Passing through a gate with a noren curtain (it looks like a small tunnel), a bright courtyard spreads out, and beyond that is a shop. Inside the store, period lacquerware, obi obi, Daikokucho, wall clocks, and magazines from the Showa era are displayed here and there, making it a feast for the eyes. Cold brew coffee is aromatic, less bitter, and easier to drink. The "Sweets Set Shimogo no Megumi" had two types of sweets, The sweetness on the other hand was very original. The crispy texture of the candy, the sticky sweetness and texture of the red bean paste, and the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the ice cream are perfectly balanced by the sponge, and the flavors and textures are fun and truly delicious. Also, I really like the ginger ale from this shop. Although it has a strong ginger flavor, it is not spicy. Exquisite! I think.
