This shop was recommended by a souvenir shop near Matsumoto Station. It's close to the station and the entrance is at the back, but the big red lanterns stand out. It serves local dishes such as fresh chicken sashimi and fried bandits, and is a restaurant you should definitely stop by if you're in Matsumoto.

If you're looking for an izakaya in front of Matsumoto Station, this is by far the place to go. There aren't many restaurants where you can eat fresh white liver, so I highly recommend this place. It's a hard to find place in the back, but there are large Banki lanterns hanging along the road, so you can find it in the back as you enter from there. The menu is diverse, including beef tendon and sashimi.
