Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan｜Hikage

Fantastic Izakaya located near Matsumoto castle. Would highly recommend a reservation as we did not have one and had to wait just under 2 hours. However the food was fantastic and was definetly one of my top Izakaya meals to date in Japan. Especially the chicken which was delicious. Highly recommended and will definetly be back again in the near future.

Good food and drinks, normal izakaya price. It gets crowded towards the night. Enjoyed their fried tofu soup, udon and grilled mackerel.

Excellent quality and value for money. More particularly the wagyu beef is divine!😋
