This is a wonderful cafe adjacent to Ganshoin Temple. Their specialty is their desserts, but they also offer lunch. They can get extremely busy during the rush season, so either call ahead to reserve a place or be prepared to wait. They take cash in addition to PayPay. Their restrooms are in the building adjacent to the cafe. They also offer take out options.

Good tarts, simple and tasty

We visited in mid May. I made a reservation at 11:30 because it was crowded on Sunday. Parking is a short distance away. It looks like a souvenir shop from the outside, but it's interesting that the interior doesn't look like a fancy cafe. I ordered the lunch menu B set. The 3 kinds of deli are beautiful in color. Serve with soup. The bone-in confit was so soft that it was easy to eat with chopsticks. Herbs are effective, and the saltiness is modest and gentle taste. The accompanying salad has many vegetables with a strong flavor, so you can enjoy the taste of the vegetables. The set dessert is a half-sized tart and you can't choose the type, it seems to be random. Since it was my first visit, I asked a lot of questions, but even though all the clerks were busy, they responded politely. I also asked for a takeaway tart when ordering the menu. I really wanted to eat mixed nut coffee caramel, so I ate it at home, and it didn't disappoint. I will definitely go again. The other tarts were also very good. Next time I plan to order the lunch A set with a single tart. Unfortunately it was raining on the day, but about 15 minutes after entering the store, there were about 2 groups waiting for guidance, so I think it would be better to make a reservation.
