Here's your destination if you are looking for tonkatsu in Karuizawa. Great service, friendly staff, quick and efficient. Once I saw the menu, thought the price should be double. Tastes great too. We have a favorite tonkatsu shop in Azabujuban at price of 2000-3500 jpy but this place went beyond our expectation at 10000-1500 jpy. After the lunch here thought we should mark this place as favourite on Google map.

[I've been a fan for almost 20 years since the Ueda era] It's my first visit to Karuizawa, so it's been a long time since I've been there. I feel like the quality of the meat has gotten even better. Kiwami Tonkatsu has sweet fat and soft meat that is delicious as soon as you put it in your mouth. It is recommended to eat it with salt. My personal most recommended menu item is “Grated Tonkatsu” It's refreshing, but the sauce is original and packs a punch that you won't find anywhere else. The taste goes perfectly with this delicious rice. Even after a meal, probably because of the quality of the ingredients, it is absorbed smoothly and does not sag at all, and is digested immediately. The katsudon is a little bland but filling. If you are a light eater, you may want to order less rice. Minced meat cutlet is also a side dish from supermarkets and butchers. Rebechi's "The minced meat cutlet" There is no doubt about it. The cream croquette is rich cream with a hint of crab? I feel it. I'm glad that the customer service is full of hospitality.
