The set menus are pocket friendly . But we went for the alacarte and paired with 4 different seasonal sakes . Service is impeccable… inspite that it is from two elderly obasan. But still … you can never get such attention from a big establishment with such kindness and hospitality. The food quality was very very fresh and delicious. I have many personal favourites that I ate tonight . The per dollar cost may seem a tad bit expensive however , we were two hungry girls who really rampaged the entire menu, because the quality of the food was so good.

Must try in Karuizawa! Really nice traditional Japanese food. We ate till we are super full, and the bill is only 60% of what we spent in an nearby outlet restaurant. They are well equipped for tourist, with English menu available. In the end we ordered a Tofu hotpot, the staff have us an extra portion for free!
