More Comments at Google MapA restaurant whose appearance and prices remain the same as in the Showa era. Is there a jukebox or a Coca-Cola refrigerator in the store? I feel the times. I had the katsudon and my friend had the pork cutlet curry. The old man was satisfied with both taste and quantity.
I saw your post while on a business trip and stopped by. I was wondering if it was open or not because there was no Noren. The store feels old, but the view from the garden side was very nice. What surprised me was the pricing, which I thought was from the Showa era. I couldn't help but order katsudon (¥600) and ramen (¥400). The meat in the katsudon was tender, and I liked the slightly salty seasoning. The ramen had a seasoning reminiscent of that at a soba restaurant, and was a nostalgic dish with soft chashu and naruto. It's not super delicious, but considering the price, I thought it was great. It was a satisfying lunch for ¥1000.
Located in Karuizawa, a resort area, it is a little-known food. The letters on the signboard have faded from the outside, making it difficult for first-timers to enter, but it is a very cozy and reasonably priced shop. Ramen 350 yen is a shocking price 👀!!
