This is hard to sum it up but the main thing is Sensei was the chef for the Showa Emperor. His cooking is all fresh and very deep in flavor. Not strong but very balanced. He spent 4 years in Europe studying cooking. Now the food. It is a softer, less in your face fat udon, kind of like Hotto in Yamanashi. The rice is on the softer side (which I prefer, wife doesn’t) but the minced chicken on the rice was great! Please pay him a visit. Prices are great.

I ate the curry, and as the staff said, it was very delicious! Not only was the curry roux delicious, but the meat was also tender and satisfying. My companion was eating Okkiri Komi Udon, a local gourmet dish, which also had an elegant taste with a hint of yuzu, and the noodles were chewy and delicious. Also, there was a man who I could call my grandpa, but although he seemed stubborn, he was very friendly and talked to me about various things. As for the curry, they boasted that the taste was comparable to the high-class curry at a certain hotel in Hakone, and I felt like I understood. Due to its location, it is near the Tomioka Silk Mill, which is a tourist spot, but in this day and age it is difficult for people to go there, but I would like as many people as possible to try this flavor.

I visited on a Monday night. I was told that they don't actually do it at night, but it seems like they were able to accommodate me as a special guest. (There were no other customers.) *They didn't seem to know that Google Maps shows that the restaurant is open at night. All of the food we received was delicious, and we were treated very kindly, which left us with good memories. We were told that they will continue to be open for lunch, so please come and have a bite to eat. The soup apparently took two days to prepare, and had a gentle flavor that soaked into your body. I want the shopkeeper to stay healthy forever.
