Looking at the menu, you'll find most of the standard diner options. This time I ordered katsudon. Super cheap at 700 yen. Comes with miso soup and pickles with eggplant and bean sprouts. When I tried it, it was delicious with a sweet seasoning sauce. It's a katsudon that has the ideal taste you've been looking for. I hope people will think that the taste is almost the same as the Gakkutei branch in Kashima-cho in Ashikaga, and the Sakamotoya in Nishi-Ogikubo in Tokyo. Unfortunately, both stores have closed. Fortunately, there is still a Hokushinken that serves similar katsudon.
