This is the kind of place that makes me glad I learned the phonetic alphabets. The menu is mostly in katakana with kanji prices, so do not come without basic language skills... But if you have them, you'll be treated to healthy portions of comfort food at even more comfortable prices. I was especially happy with the pickle plate that came with my set meal, which had FIVE different varieties, which blows away every other set meal I've ever ordered.

It is run by a nice couple. About half the seats were filled when I went near 2:00, and the noren was lowered at 2:30. This time it's katsudon and gomoku fried yakisoba. The katsudon is crispy and comes with 3 kinds of pickles and miso soup. The rice is very tasty and not too much. The yakisoba was full of vegetables and the chashu and ham were delicious.

I'm a woman who travels around the country eating sauce cutlets. This sauce katsudon was exquisite🥺My stomach was growling from the sound of the owner's wife hitting the meat. As a result, the meat is so soft that it makes you smile and say, "Ah, delicious!" with just one bite. The couple is also lovely. Thank you for the wonderful sauce cutlet time 😭
