I come from Singapore and I have never stopped thinking of the tempura that I’ve eaten here. The batter is light and crunchy, and the ingredients are amazingly fresh! The best tempura I have ever eaten despite all that I have tried!! Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

I came here for Sunday lunch because I wanted to try Okayama's specialty bara sushi. Order the daily service menu from the bara sushi set menu. It comes with rose sushi, miso dengaku, and soup for 1,100 yen. I think the taste is delicious and the cost performance is very good. There are only about 15 seats including the counter and table seats, so it's best to go early or make a reservation if you're in a large group. When I visited, the seats were filled and there were quite a few people who either waited outside or gave up, probably because reservations were being taken as soon as the restaurant opened. When I went there, tables were reserved. Next time, I want to try Mamakari sushi or seafood bowl. First visit at night. It was the last day of a three-day holiday, so it was empty. I was unsure whether to choose between makari sushi or seafood bowl, but since I hadn't eaten salt-grilled mackerel, I ordered a service set meal of salt-grilled makari and pickled makari. Mamakari's pickled vegetables are so authentic that they are indescribably delicious. Goes well with draft beer. The salt-grilled swordfish is delicious with just the right amount of fat. I'm also happy that it comes with 2 side dishes 😃 I will come again in the evening. This time I ordered a beer set instead of a set meal. A set that includes a medium mug of draft beer and boiled and fried mackerel as a side dish. The braised mackerel has a nice amount of fat and is delicious. A medium mug of draft beer is sufficient. A large mug might be too much. I ordered the oden set next. It's a little early, but it's well cooked and delicious. In the end, I was hesitant, but I decided to order the Okayama specialty makari sushi nigiri. I think this is a must-have item. was delicious.

I was surprised when 8 pieces of Mamakari (with soup) came out for 1100 yen. I personally thought it would not be enough, so I added 4 pieces (red sea bream, octopus, adductor muscle, conger eel). All of them were thick-sliced ​​and delicious. A chance encounter when I was looking for a store thinking it was a specialty of Okayama became a good memory. I'm sure I'll come back again, so it's a restaurant where I want to enjoy my time with other people while enjoying sake and a la carte dishes.
