More Comments at Google MapI ordered kake udon and inari sushi. The soup stock is slightly sweet, and the noodles are medium-thin and smooth for udon. It is delicious with toppings such as tempura and grated konbu. The inari was a little large and was a good accompaniment to the meal. I finished the entire meal including the soup.
It seems like they are closed on Sundays, so I can only go on Saturdays on weekdays due to work. I'm allowed to go there occasionally. I always order a small bowl of Yamakake udon, and my parents usually order a small bowl of tempura udon or a small bowl of tempura udon. This time, I ordered a small bowl of Yamakake udon and a small bowl of Tenzaru udon. Udon comes in small, medium and large sizes, but even small ones will fill you up quite a bit. The noodles are thin and taste delicious. The location is right next to the Tanokuchi Fire Station and is very easy to find.
An old-fashioned udon restaurant. Udon is thin and soft, which is rare in Okayama where the influence of Sanuki is strong. However, even though it is soft, it has a firm texture. Very easy to eat. The soup stock is quite sweet, but there is also a moderate amount of saltiness, and you can feel the umami. I personally love this soup. There is nothing special about it, but it is delicious and loved by men and women of all ages. You can choose between small, medium, and large portions, so people with small appetites and those who want to eat a lot can rest assured. Still, the price is cheap, there is a reasonable amount among them, and the cost performance is outstanding.
