I wanted to eat raw cherry shrimp so I went to Sakura Restaurant in Oigawa Port. It has become a very popular store since it was featured on TV. I arrived at 1:15pm and was able to get in easily in about 10 minutes. This place is famous for raw whitebait and sakura shrimp. From the menu, I purchased a meal ticket for Raw Sakura Shrimp Bowl (1000 yen), Sakura Shrimp Kamaage (1000 yen), and Sakura Shrimp Kakiage (400 yen). A large bowl of rice is free. The raw sakura shrimp bowl is best served with shredded seaweed on top of the rice. Kakiage is fluffy and crispy. The special kakiage sauce is exquisite! This alone is enough to sell at a store. I want you to try not only raw sakura shrimp and raw whitebait, but also sakura shrimp kakiage. Supplementary information If you want to try raw cherry shrimp (always available) and raw whitebait (some days they don't), you should call and ask if it's available on the day you go. The same boat is used for fishing for sakura shrimp and whitebait, so if you go out to fish for sakura shrimp the day before, there will be no fresh whitebait the next day. If the previous day was whitebait fishing, you can eat raw sakura shrimp and whitebait the next day.

Before I went, I was wondering what the atmosphere inside the store would be like. eh! Is it here? I was worried, but the inside of the store was very clean. I went there because I wanted to eat raw whitebait, but they didn't have it in stock, so I had whitebait, sakura shrimp, and kakiage bowl. 1300 yen. It was very delicious and the sakura shrimp was plump. Raw Sakura Shrimp was also on the menu, so I would like to order something different next time.

It was after the sakura shrimp fishing was over, but I was able to eat raw sakura shrimp. There seems to be stock right after the fishing season. I couldn't eat raw whitebait on Sunday because there was no whitebait fishing. The area where the roof is lined up has a small area, so it gets wet when it rains. I need an umbrella. The inside of the store can accommodate a few people in the entrance windbreak room, so the heat and cold will be relieved. The menu is in the form of purchasing a meal ticket first. Please note that you cannot purchase food tickets even if you wait in the store before opening. There is almost no waiting time after issuing the meal ticket, so it was good that it didn't take long because I could eat it quickly if it was empty. The taste was very good. Prices are reasonable in this day and age. If you want to eat cheaper than this, I think you have to buy it at the supermarket and serve it yourself. The inside of the store is a dining room, so it is not fashionable. The entrance and exit are separate. The toilet will be next to the entrance outside the store. If the clerk was at work, it was available even before opening.
