Iida, Nagano, Japan｜Shinanoya Sakuramachi

First time entering. The sauce cutlet bowl is voluminous and the cutlet is pierced. I've eaten elsewhere, but this one is the best! The people who work there are also nice and simple. If you go near it, I will intrude again.

In the yakiniku city of Iida, there are actually very few restaurants where you can eat yakiniku from noon, and Shinano-ya is one of the rare places where you can eat yakiniku from noon. I had Yakiniku for lunch on my Iida Yakiniku pilgrimage. After using this restaurant, I realized that it is a popular restaurant among locals, and many people eat set meals at seats without a roaster. The seats where you can enjoy yakiniku are tatami mats, and are large enough for one person to use. I guess it depends on the time of day, but I felt a bit sorry for the staff at the store. However, the staff at the store were very responsive and the store was very pleasant. Speaking of Iida, I think of Genghis Khan, but since I was in the mood for beef more, I ordered beef as the main dish. I ate tongue, upper ribs, and sagari. I was advised by the staff that it would take a while since all of the items were cut to order, but they were served fairly quickly. Thank you. At this restaurant, the meat has no seasoning, so I eat it with salt and pepper on the table, which is a bit sad for Yakiniku. I would like to see the store's claims expressed through the taste. However, Iida's yakiniku culture is basically unseasoned, so perhaps that's the area's approach. This is the same in Kitami City in Hokkaido, which is also a yakiniku city, so there may be something in common. The best thing I ate was the upper ribs. It feels like a town restaurant and is crowded with local regulars. The staff are nice and the food is delicious! I've been going to this restaurant for a while now, and no matter what I eat, it's delicious, plentiful, and very satisfying. If you're having trouble finding dinner in Iida City, we recommend this place first!
