An instant favorite. If you're looking for a home-cooked meal made from the heart- please go!! The chef has been cooking for 50yrs, and his wife forages vegetables for the sides and pickles. Absolutely wonderful teishoku place that may not be around for too much longer, so please check them out if you're in the Joetsu area!

It's a local restaurant and it's very comfortable. I ate katsudon. It was like a katsunidon (boiled pork cutlet bowl) that also used enoki mushrooms, but it was delicious.
