Arase Okonomiyaki. Great Hiroshima style okonomiyaki. You can choose typical pork, squid, octopus with udon noodles, or yaki soba or none. Typical price is 900Y but can go up to 1300Y for the Hiroshima specials which are a combo of everything. Restaurant seats about 14 people max, but more like 10. It's super hot inside. No air conditioning. You can order cold beer here and they serve water as gratis. The portion is quite big so you can probably split it and be adequately full for two. Definitely worth a try. They have take out too. Owners probably don't speak English so use thr typical point to the menu on the wall. Definitely a local joint and has been around for more than 25 years.

This was my second time here, and it was very delicious. It was Hiroshima-yaki, and the iron plate was right in front of me, and although it was hot, I ate it without breaking a sweat. Next time I would like to try the Arase special.

It has a taste that hasn't changed since ancient times, and it's definitely one of the best okonomiyaki I've ever eaten.
