More Comments at Google MapI was drawn to the stylish sign in front of the store and stopped by. The inside of the store has a nostalgic, relaxing atmosphere. The host will welcome you kindly. This is a delicious and fun restaurant where you can enjoy authentic okonomiyaki, which the owner has been making for half a century since he was 6 years old (apparently he used to bake it for his family when he was a child). The food was of course great, but the local sake and beer served in an ice-cold glass were also exceptional. We also sampled premium local sake that is hard to find in the market. This is a store I definitely want to visit again.
The owner, who has been in the shop since he was 6 years old and has been in the business for 64 years, runs the shop by himself. Probably the best career in Japan. They bake it very carefully. I had the recommended pork ball udon. It was mellow and delicious.
You can enjoy very delicious okonomiyaki made Hiroshima-style (according to the owner's own method). The food was made live on a griddle right in front of me, and as soon as I stuffed it into my mouth with a spatula, I was absorbed in eating it. I think eating it directly from the iron plate with a spatula is refreshing for people in the Kanto region. As for the toppings for okonomiyaki, I had the impression that Hiroshima style would be soba, but I was told that udon was also a perfect ingredient, so I made each of them and it turned out to be delicious! First, the butter-grilled oysters and pork kimchi that I had as snacks were very good♪
