Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima, Japan｜Hachi

When I got there, it was empty but when I entered, I was surprised that he was making probably 10 orders of okonomiyaki. The shop is small but very clean. The okonomiyaki was really good and flavorful. The staff was very accommodating and made me feel comfortable even though I was eating alone in the shop. I’m happy to have found this shop around Ono since there aren’t a lot of restaurants around this area. Very satisfied!

Today I was able to go to the okonomiyaki "Hachi" that I wanted to go to 😊 This restaurant is run by the cute older brother of Sanfrecce number 3 player Daichi Yamazaki, and there are many Sanfrecce posters and signs inside. It was fun to hear him talk so easily about soccer and Yamazaki ⚽️ There are two tables inside the store, but I guess the main focus is takeout! In addition to regular okonomiyaki, there were also mentaiko mayonnaise, curry & cheese, etc., which were delicious. I want to get the Hachi special this time~ Thank you for the meal😋

My husband requested to try Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, and it was highly rated on Google Maps, so we went there. Usually it seems very crowded, but since it was raining, I was lucky that it was empty. The inside of the store smelled very nice and the customer service from the staff was also very good, as other people have said. As for the restroom, I think it can't be helped because of the location or the simple building of the store, but it may be a little difficult for small children to sit by themselves due to the height. We also had unusual flavors of okonomiyaki such as kimchi natto and Hachi special (with motsu). It was delicious.
