Zama, Kanagawa, Japan｜Hirochan

This was our first time eating okonomiyaki and I’m happy we did it at hirochan! It’s owned and operated by an elderly couple and they made us feel very welcomed. It can be hard eating at independently owned restaurants because our Japanese isn’t very good, but they were super understanding and went out of their way to make sure we had a nice meal. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back to visit ひろさん！

Friendly staff

I visited for the first time today after hearing about it from a friend. I ordered the beef tendon stew and beer recommended by the friendly master. Homemade and absolutely delicious! Goes perfectly with beer👌 Next is horse sashimi. This is also delicious! The great thing about this restaurant is that when you first ask for a knob, A place that serves okonomiyaki at just the right time while you watch it carefully. The master looked at me every now and then as I served the okonomiyaki, so I was able to enjoy the hot and delicious okonomiyaki! I ended up asking too much and the rest was just take...sweat. Okonomiyaki is something I've always wanted to eat. Thank you to my friend and Hiro-chan for introducing me! I will go again ^_^
